Alesis Recital 88 key digital piano (white) review

The Alesis have a very strong line up and are breaking through in the digital piano market very easily. Popular makes like Yamaha and Casio are often having to make room for new manufacturers. But Alesis are holding their own against these giants and are doing very well!

The overall quality of an Alesis piano is superb. The buttons, the digital screen, the keys, the usability and the overall look and feel are exceptional. But the best part about the Alesis Recital 88 key digital piano is the price. At just over £200 this make it around £20-30 more expensive that the black version. I’ve always been quite a traditionalist when it comes to the colour of pianos, and black has always been my main choice. I can also go for a dark brown, but certainly you can never go wrong with black. However, white pianos are all the rage these days, and I’m certainly sold on this colour now I’ve seen the Alesis Recital White 88 key digital piano in white.

Here’s a video so you can see how it looks!

Final impressions

I’ve already done a full review on the Alesis Recital 88 key digital piano, so click here to head over for the full details. However, I can say that I love this in white. The subtle read strip that you get across the top of the keys just looks fantastic with the white background of the piano. The dark function buttons also sit very nicely.

One thing worth mentioning however is that the white colour is easy to spoil. So be very careful if you buy this piano that you don’t scratch this on the side of a wall or catch it with anything at all. Looking closer at the finish of this piano, it doesn’t look like it would scratch easily. But if you are looking to be very mobile with this piano and are taking it to gigs or school, then I would just say to be really careful.

Check out the pictures to see how stunning this looks in white, but if you would like to read my review and also check out the original black colour, then head over to that one for more information.
